John began his legal career as an Associate Attorney at a mid-sized law firm in New York, where he gained hands-on experience in civil litigation, legal research, motion drafting, and courtroom advocacy. During this period, he worked closely with senior partners on complex commercial disputes, contract enforcement cases, and regulatory compliance matters.

He later advanced to the role of Senior Associate, advising corporate clients on business formation, shareholder agreements, mergers and acquisitions, employment compliance, and risk management.
